MY LATEST RESEARCH

I have presented two posters exploring the acquisition of place of articulation features in four English-learning children. This research considers input as a source of explanation for the observed patterns and also offers an analysis within Optimality Theory.

I am currently beginning a research project exploring interactions between multiple background factors, foreign accent and intelligibility, and production and perception of complex syllable structures.
